My last day!

Time is flying, I can clearly remembered the day I have arrived in Beijing, it was a hot evening and people were expecting the opening day in 3 days time. Now, weeks later, the closing ceremony is just in the corner and I am sitting in my apartment thinking about what is my best moment of the Olympic Games.

These days, I’ve been following the swimming events and Speedo events, when the day all the swimming events came to an end, I feel really sad to say farewell to all the swimmers and the Water Cube. Just now, all these moments are trying to jumping in to my mind, the moment when I saw Michael won his 8 gold medals, when I saw Dara held a silver medal with her tears or Liu Zige took the gold in women’s 200m fly, the first time hearing our national anthem played in the Water Cube, the long talk with Ada which give me more confidence and courage to face the coming difficulties, but I can not tells which one was my best moment through the Olympic Games, because all of these moments becoming a best in my life.

I am thankful that I joined Pentland in the Graduate schema. And it was so lucky that I am picked to come to Beijing with Speedo. All of my friends said to me that they are envy me so much, and I am so lucky to be evolving in the Olympic Games in my own country. And I think the same; I am so lucky to meet the greatest Olympian Michael Phelps and witnessed the history in the Water Cube, and many other things I can never ever imaging to do so in my life! All these experiences can never take away from me! I will keep all these memories in the deep of my heart, because this was the opportunity I have been dreaming for so long, now it is all in my hand.

I have to say bye now, because I will going on my holiday tomorrow, visit my parents and families, and meet my friends that I have not seeing for 10 years! What an exciting gathering. And the most important thing is after I back to UK, I will move on to a new project in a new brand. So today is theoretically my last day with Speedo. I feel really emotional to think in this way! But I remembered what Ada told me, life is so beautiful and unpredictable, so we should enjoy every day!

I have been working with a great team here in the Beijing and the support team in the UK, I can not tell their names here, because then I will end up with a full page of names in my last blog, which will a bit like a typical Chinese speech. But please let me say thank you to you all! I really enjoyed my trip in Beijing and I love you all! Hopefully I will see all of you very soon!
