Looking back I have to say that I had an amazing time in China and I’m pretty happy with my results from Beijing. I swam in three races at the 2008 Olympic Games and came home with three medals – so that’s pretty cool. I won two individual Bronze Olympic Medals and one Gold relay Medal. I wanted to improve on my 2004 Athens results and I did do that – so, mission accomplished.

The Beijing 2008 Olympic Games were absolutely amazing. For me, it stayed true to what I believe is the ultimate Olympic experience, with its highs and its lows, and once again I found myself challenged with new situations and different obstacles to overcome. I loved every minute of it. I achieved double what I did in Athens, and even more importantly I learnt so much from the competition, which I will be able to take away and hopefully apply in my future, not only in swimming but in life.

What an Olympic Games! I still can’t believe what happened. The results I achieved were a huge shock for me. My goal was definitely to win gold, but to win three was beyond what I had imagined. My time in Beijing was filled with such a mix of highs and lows – it was the most emotional meet I have ever been involved in.

What is the best way to do front crawl? I don't really know? Should you use a nose plug?

My last day!

Time is flying, I can clearly remembered the day I have arrived in Beijing, it was a hot evening and people were expecting the opening day in 3 days time. Now, weeks later, the closing ceremony is just in the corner and I am sitting in my apartment thinking about what is my best moment of the Olympic Games.

Olympic village

Today, I finally visited Olympic village. I want to thanks to James for working very hard to get us in to the village! Let us have a look what’s in there apart from the best athletes in the world! I have been out and in to the Olympic park so many times, but I have absolutely no idea where is the Olympic Village. So we decided to take a Taxi and just go around the Olympic park to find out where it is. I am very excited about this trip, and actually I am a little bit over worried that I can not get in as I don’t have the accreditation.

Two days to go!

I went to beach volleyball with James today and as the U.S. team won the gold medal, I suddenly came to realize we can already touch the match point now. In beach volleyball culture, audiences should all stand up and cheering for the match point! But what shall I do to cheering for the coming closing day?
